My 5 Favourite Beauty Products

Today I am sharing with you my 5 favorite beauty products that I use in my Dancer Life!

Mac Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour Make-Up Bellydance.jpg

1. My favorite lipstick that I use all the time on my performances: Mac Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour. You can easily put it on as it is liquid, but then it dries and stays forever (the hard thing is to take it out). In an event that takes hours, I never have the need to do make-up again. I use the strong red “Feels so grand”, as I really want to have my smile standing out on stage. Discovered it in 2016, and now I can’t live without it.

2. When we perform, we always put our hair under hot iron (for curls or straightening) and it is important to protect our hair from this aggressive treatment. For this, I highly recommend Kérastase Resistance Ciment Thermique. It not only protects the hair, but it also softens it, gives volume and controls frizzy hair.

Duo Glue Make-Up Bellydance.jpg

3. I can’t go on any stage without fake eyelashes. It intensifies our eyes, our expression, 1000%. And one important thing is to have them easily stick and not coming out. So, I use the Duo Glue for sticking them. It’s my favorite. You can find it in several stores.

Marc Jacobs Beauty's Crease Brush Make-Up Bellydance

4. Smokey eyes with a crease cut is the best for stage, opening and intensifying eyes at the same time! Therefore, I feel that a Crease Bursh is a necessary product for oriental dancers. I use MARC JACOBS BEAUTY’S CREASE BRUSH. I use it for creating a crease cut, blending and smoking.

Mac Pro Longwear Fluidline Gel Liner Make-Up Bellydance.jpg

5. For an oriental dancer, a good eyeliner is key! For that I use Mac Pro Longwear Fluidline Gel Liner – the “Blacktrack”. I need to have a gel liner, it’s much more flexible, you can do whatever you want with it, and the MAC one is just the best. It dries fast (you don’t get all dirty) and it stays forever. I have been using it for ages!

And here they are. Let me know your thoughts on this post and what other products you recommend!
